WHAT IS THE OREGON BOWL?

MORE THAN JUST A GAME

The Oregon Bowl is Oregon’s premier youth all-star football experience for outstanding 6th-, 7th-, and 8th-grade athletes from across the state. Athletes are nominated, reviewed, and selected for the opportunity to represent their grade and community in a four-day, three-night, college-style experience.

Since 2018, Oregon Bowl athletes have represented 166 Oregon schools. The event brings athletes, families, coaches, and communities together through elite competition, meaningful relationships, and a shared commitment to giving back.

HOW ATHLETES ARE SELECTED

Athletes may be nominated by coaches, parents, teachers, community members, or others who believe they deserve consideration. Selection focuses on ability, character, effort, and the potential to represent their school and community well. Complete 2027 nomination and selection information will be announced soon.

GAME DAY

The Oregon Bowl features separate 6th-, 7th-, and 8th-grade all-star games. Families and fans can attend in person, and the games are livestreamed so supporters can watch from anywhere.

The 2026 event welcomed approximately 3,000–5,000 fans in person, reached 11,000 livestream viewers, and generated nearly 3 million social media views.

The 2027 date, location, schedule, athlete fees, nomination deadline, and complete packing list will be announced as details are finalized.

FOOTBALL WITH PURPOSE

The Oregon Bowl’s impact extends far beyond the scoreboard. The event has provided more than $125,000 in combined support for foster families and Oregon youth football while continuing to strengthen young athletes and communities across the state.

The Oregon Bowl also proudly supports Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oregon & SW Washington and has become one of its largest donors of material items, helping families stay close to the care their children need.
